In 1997, CHT transferred all production to
Dublingen and
ceased it in Tubingen
due to the confined spacial conditions.
Today administration is located in Tubingen
and - in modern, spacious laboratories-development and
application technique.
In the Dublingen
plant, all production activities as well as logistics are
centralized on a site of approximately 80.000m2.
In connection with the move and the extension of the production
facilities special value was set on the improvement and increase
of industrial health and environmental protection. Thus modern
chemical plants are available today, operated by qualified
personnel.
The production facilities serve the production of liquid, paste
and powder textile auxiliaries.
The required raw materials are delivered by lorry and stored
intermediately in warehouse facilities.
Agreat part of
liquid raw materials are delivered by tanker to a raw material
storage tank farm.
Raw materials from the tank farm are pumped directly to the
various production machines by means of pipelines on a big
pipeline bridge with spillage conduct and lea°¡
detectors. Tranportation
of the remaining raw materials takes place with an internal
transport system.
In production the raw materials are filled into SPS-controlled,
closed reactors or mixing tanks either directly or by means of
dosing devices.
Depending on the products, production takes place by various
process steps. The methods mostly applied are: Chemical
reactions(such as esterification, sulfonation, sulfatation,
phosphonmethylation, phosphatation, quaternisation) and physical
processes such as mixing, drying, grinding.
The products are filled into approved and tested packaging after
filtration (liquid and pasty substances) or sieving (solid
substances).
Subsequently, they are broughtin-to fully-automatic high rise
racking with 5,300 places putinto
operation in 1996. From there, worldwide delivery of the
products takes place with an efficient and secure logistics
concept.
On
most modern facilities the textile
auxiliaries are produced in liquid,
pasty and powder consistency.
The finished products are stored in a
high rise racking which is 22m high.
By means of a lorry terminal, 130 tons
of finished products leave the
production location DuBlingen every day.
Innovative solutions
require quick reaction ability, the most modern plant technology
and sell-organized logistics. |
