The tendency of softeners of turning yellow depends on the pH value of the liquor, the drying temperature and drying time as well as on the ionic character of combination products. Pretrials under operative terms are therefore indispensable.

The bath stability is highly influenced by the pH value of the liquor.

In indcidual cases the shearing stability depends on the pump performance. Pretrials on jets are required.
