MEROPAN LAP(a liq)

MEROPAN LAP is a mild oxidizing agnet for textile finishing. It avoids the negative influence of substances with a reducing
effect in the treatment liquor when scouring and dyeing. For vat dyeing MEROPAN LAP is used to oxidize the dyestuffs.

Mixture of special polymers
Special product to protect wool from felting. MEROPAN NF temporarily masks the scale layer or the wool by forming a
film around the fibre during wet finishing processes. Character and handle of the fabric remain unchanged.

MEROPAN NX(a liq)
Modified phosphonates and polycarboxylic acids
Protective colloid with sequestering properties. Main application field is dyeing cellulose fibres and their blends. Its
protective colloid prevents filtrations when dyeing yarn packages.
MEROPAN NX has sequestering properties for Ca, Mg and Fe ions. The product does not strip dyestuffs containing
metal.
Application amount depending on the water hardness and dyestuff quantity:
1-4g/l MEROPAN NX
MEROPAN PFH NEW(n pow)
Amorphous silicates
Handle variator based on amorphous, platelike clay material.
A slight abrasion of the fibere surface takes palce when working with MEROPAN PFH NEW. Thus the surface character
resembles a peachskin. Treatment must be carried out on discontinuous machines with a great deal of mechanics and
liquor turbulenes.

MEROPAN SK(d liq)
Formadehyde donor with levelling agents
Wool protection agent for dyeigng wool or wool/PES blends under HT-conditions. It prevents the wool from being
damaged when dyed under HT-conditions. Thus the technological properties will be maintained and there will be no
stiffening of the handle or yellwing of the wool.
MEROPAN SK possesses good levelling properties towards the wool dyestuffs.

Mixture of polycarboxylic acid
MEROPAN VD NEW is a protective colloid with sequestering properties towards Ca and Mg inons when dyeing cellulose
fibres and their blends of all dyestuff classes. Its protective colloid effect prevents filtration when dyeing yarn packages.
Depending on the dyestuff quantity, water hardness and hardness of the fabric
1-3g/l MEROPAN VD NEW are applied.
MEROPAN XR Granulate(a pow)
Sodium-m-nitrobenzene sulphonate
MEROPAN XR Granulate is used as a weak oxidizing agent for textile finishing and prevents unwelcome reducing effects
during the various finishing steps. MEROPAN XR Granulate prevents the dyestuffs from boiling off in direct and reactive
dyeing processes. In the pad steam procedure with reactive and direct dyestuffs MEROPAN XR Granulate avoids
damages caused by reducing chemicals which are contained in the steam. For vat dyeing MEROPAN XR Granulate is
used as a weak oxidizing agent.

MIGRASOL DMI(a liq)
Polyacrylate
MIGRASOL DMI is used as padding auxiliary to prevent dyestuff migration in continuous dyeing processes of cellulose
fibres, polyester and polyester/cellulose mixtures. The product is mainly used in the intermediate drying phass. The
fabic appearance remains even, uniform and not sooty.

NEUTRACID NV, NVM 200(no liq)
Mixture of organic/inorganic buffers
NEUTRACID NV and NVM 200 are pH buffers for neutralizing alkaline finishing processes. NVM 200 is adjusted to be
more acid and should therefore be applied if too much NEUTRACID NV would have to be used. Excess amounts of both
products do nor cause any fibre damage compared to mineral acids.
The products are nor volatile and therefore cause no corrosion to the stenter or other machines.
Application amounts-discontinuous:
0.3-1.5§¢/l NEUTRACID NV or 0.1-0.5§¢/l NEUTRACID NVM 200
